I have been a member of the PTFA since my eldest son joined WHS in 2012. My youngest son is currently in year 7.
I am also a community Governor at the school (since 2014) and find that this complements my PTFA role really well. I believe passionately that the PTFA is a force for good and, more from a more selfish perspective, it also affords the opportunity to get really involved in the school.
I have enjoyed a number of roles, including the Chair, but currently focus on being the “drinks monitor” (in other words I run the bar) which many would suggest is my dream job!
