The Woodcote High PTFA Lottery Rules

The Woodcote High PTFA Lottery is a Registered Small Society Lottery under the Gambling Act 2005.

The objective of the Lottery is to raise money for Woodcote High School. All profits are used to benefit the school.

The Lottery is administered by members of the Committee of Woodcote High School PTFA.

Ten draws take place for the reminder of the academic Year (October to July).

Tickets for all draws must be purchased by 30th September 2015 via Wisepay.

The cost of each ticket is £1 per draw and participants can purchase as many tickets as they desire.

Purchasing one ticket for the academic year entitles the holder to one number in the lottery draw.

Ticket numbers are allocated on a sequential basis in order of purchase.

The cost of entry for each ticket is therefore £10 to subscribe for the academic year.

Each ticket is entered into the 10 draws that take place throughout the academic year (monthly).

Two winning tickets (the “winner” and “runner up”) will be drawn each month by independent members of the school staff.

The Winner will receive 40% of the value of the tickets sold for the month of the draw.

The Runner Up will receive 20% of the value of the tickets sold for the month of the draw.

All prizes will be issued by cheque.
